Whether you are an author or an avid reader, #RRBC is a place you’ll feel at home.

Rave Reviews Book Club is a community like no other. Whether you are an author or an avid reader, RRBC is a place you’ll feel at home. Quite simply, RRBC is the place to be!

I joined the club in August 2015 and can honestly say, as an author, it has been the best decision I have ever made. After publishing my first book of Poetry in February 2015, I quickly learned that writing was the easy part, connecting it to readers was something entirely different. But I love a challenge and love learning new things, so I developed a Facebook page, then entered the world of Twitter. This is when everything changed. This is where I discovered RRBC. RRBC is not like any other book club; it truly is a community of authors supporting authors.

When I joined RRBC, I was overwhelmed with the enthusiastic welcome I received. Now, as new members join, I try to pass along that same enthusiasm and encouragement. The mottos “Share the Love!” and “Pay it Forward!” are exemplified within the club, and I live by them.

For communities to exist and thrive, it requires its members to support each other, participate and engage in its activities. This is the foundation of RRBC and it stands as a vital component of its success. Nonnie Jules, the founder and president of RRBC, lives by this model, and I applaud her commitment and vitality to offer such a remarkable opportunity for indie authors. You’ll also see such enthusiasm from the dedicated Board Members, who are the most genuine, kind-hearted people you’ll ever have the privilege of meeting.

Soon after I joined, I was the recipient of a PUSHTUESDAY slot. The flood of support I received from fellow members was incredible. I have since been featured as “Member of the Month,” and in April my book of poetry THE HEART’S JOURNEY HOME was selected as one of the three “Books of the Month.” Also, I was interviewed on the RAVES WAVES RADIO broadcast “Behind the Pen.” To be chosen for these spots was indeed a colossal honour, and I assure you it will never be forgotten.

The support has been tremendous and continues to be. The results are tangible: sales and reviews of my book are steadily climbing, and I have seen an increase in followers (and engagement!) on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and Pinterest. But wait, the support doesn’t end there!

The talent within the club is extraordinary and the level of peer support is undeniably inspiring. By observing and engaging with fellow members, I learned how to effectively use social media (particularly Twitter). The truth is, I rarely promote my book on Twitter because the incredibly supportive RRBC members do shout-outs all the time. In return, I promote fellow members and just love it! This is the kind of support fostered in the community of RRBC. Also, before joining RRBC, I had no clue about blogging. Literally no clue. But I’m ecstatic to say I just recently hosted a “Spotlight” Author on her blog tour. I was able to do this because I immersed myself into the wealth of knowledge that exists within the club. I believe, wholeheartedly, that I’m learning from the best and I’m elated to say so.

I’ve met so many talented authors and have the privilege of reading and reviewing their work. This has been a remarkable journey of learning, friendship, and gratitude.

A huge THANK YOU to Nonnie Jules, Members of the Board, and all the incredibly supportive members of Rave Reviews Book Club for all that you do. I’m so proud and delighted to walk with you on this exquisite journey.

If you are a member of RRBC, keep on being awesome! If you are not, what are you waiting for?

Join us today! Rave Reviews Book Club  I promise you’ll be glad you did.
