Peace by Piece Puzzles ~ Mother's Day Store-Wide Sale
Peace by Piece Puzzles ~ Mother’s Day Store-Wide Sale

Mother’s Day is a day of mixed celebration for Nicole and I. We were born on Mother’s Day (I’m 10 minutes older :)). We came into this world as a surprise. “There’s two!” were our dad’s words to announce our arrival to the family.

Mother’s Day will always hold a special place in our hearts. Now, we honour our mom’s life and legacy. Her sudden passing 21 years ago brought unimaginable heartbreak. Life is fragile, with its paths of uncertainty and forced goodbyes. But we’ve come to understand that memories – these treasured gems of the ones we love – are eternal gifts … and a Mother’s Love is, indeed, an infinite gift of grace.

Please join us in celebrating Mothers around the world.

If you are a mom, we’re sending out huge (((hugs))) to you on your special day!

In tribute to our mom, we are sharing the love with a store-wide sale.

What is a Peace by Piece Puzzle?

Along with a beautiful, tranquil image, every Peace by Piece Puzzle carries an inspirational verse, a message of hope and love. The verses are written by me and come from a heart of gratitude.

A Peace by Piece Puzzle is a gift from the heart; it is permission to quiet the mind alone, or come together with a loved one in a shared experience. During those moments when words are sometimes hard to find, a Peace by Piece Puzzle can be your voice.

Say “I love you” with a smile, a hug, a kind act, and a jigsaw puzzle poem!

Add a little glue and frame it for an everlasting gift from the heart.

A MOTHER’S LOVE

A MOTHER’S LOVE

A mother’s love is gracious
Finding treasures few others see
With tenderness and grace
You inspired me to dream.

With a fire in my soul
And passion in my step
I built a life piece by piece
With no burden of regret.

It wasn’t always easy
I fell a time or two
Like a lighthouse in a storm
You were there to guide me through.

I can smile at my reflection
Because you chose to believe
For a mother’s love gave rise
To my audacity to dream.

But words sometimes fail me
So I pray you always know
That you are always in my heart
And will be forever loved.

FROM ME, TO YOU

FROM ME, TO YOU

Years pass by so quickly now
But somethings never change
Without hesitation or agenda
By my side you remain.

You know all my fears
You’ve seen my dreams come true
We raised a glass together
For I saw the same of you.

Life is mystifying
An adventure of laughter and tears
Piece by piece, we built our lives
With memories to share.

Sometimes miles may separate us
And time just slips away
Yet steady as a mighty oak
Our friendship remains the same.

Tomorrow is but a mystery
Life’s journey is seldom known
But our bond is anchored and secure
For it’s the light that guides us home.

  1. Wow! These are beautiful and an inspired promotion for Mother’s Day – absolutely ideal! 😀 The poems are wonderful, touching and heart-felt. The following lines stand out for me:
‘Like a lighthouse in a storm
You were there to guide me through.’
My mother still is that lighthouse … and me hers at times!
    Hugs xxx

    1. Thanks so much for sharing this with me, Annika. Nicole and I love sharing messages of love and inspiration any way we can. Mother’s Day is very special to us. Much of what we do is in our mom’s reflection. We feel blessed to be able to do this together. Blessings and (((hugs))) to you and your mom! XO

  2. I’m joining the above chorus. Your poems are beautiful, and you inspire for Mothers Day! My mother is up there with ‘Clarence’ and the angels and I know she would be/is happy for you! ♥♥♥

    1. Thank you, Billy Ray. Sorry you know this loss, too. After all these years, it’s pretty special to share the love with others. The ones we love are always with us. Blessings to you across the miles. 🙂

    1. Thank you, Balroop! We feel so blessed to be able to do this together. Sharing the love is very much in our mom’s reflection. Blessings and love to you across the miles. XO

  3. Natalie, you have done a wonderful post and the poems are so strong and imaginative, full of fantastic images. Such love is indeed a light house, a guidance in all you do in life.

  4. Beautiful puzzles. I love the message and the gorgeous images surrounding it. Perfect Mother’s Day gift, Natalie. My husband and I started working on puzzles together last year and it is remarkably relaxing and challenging. I will be adding one of your puzzles to our collection for our Anniversary. Happy Mother’s Day and Happy Birthday:)

    1. Thank you so much, Denise! How wonderful that you and your hubby enjoy puzzles. Nicole’s hubby does them. Mine doesn’t. It’s quite comical to see him “try.” 🙂 During the exhibition/gift shows, we met quite a few couples that enjoy it. We sold a lot of the “Our Story” puzzle and a few folks said they glued it and framed it. We glue all the puzzles for display. Our Story is one of my favourites. It’s beautiful and a bit more challenging with the soft blend of gold and brown.
Thanks again for your kind words, amazing support, and early birthday wishes. Cheers to you! 🙂

  5. Such beautiful poetry and puzzles. It’s really hard losing a mother, but you and your sister are keeping her memory alive through endeavors like this. My mother was my best friend throughout my life. It was hard saying goodbye when she passed from this world six years ago, but I know I’ll see her in Heaven again. Wishing you and Nicole all the best!

    1. Thank you, Mae, and sending out huge (((hugs))) across the miles. When we completed the design for A Mother’s Love we shared an emotional moment. Much of what we do is in our mom’s reflection. I know you feel that too. Blessings to you, my friend. Thank you again for your amazing, continued support. XO

    1. Thanks so much, Christy! When passion and purpose collide pretty incredible things transpire. And how spectacular that we’re able to do this together as sisters. My heart is full. Hope you’re enjoying a lovely weekend. Cheers! 🙂

  6. This is so heartwarming, Natalie. What a great idea for Mother’s Day and a wonderful way to celebrate your own mother. The poem is beautiful as is your enduring love for your mom! You and Nicole have created beautiful gifts for the day. <3

    1. Thank you, Diana! We feel so blessed to be able to do this together. It’s been a wonderful journey of love, reflection, and inspiration. We couldn’t ask for anything more. Many thanks from the both of us. Wishing you a joyous weekend. 🙂

  7. Beautiful, just beautiful! I think I would enjoy reading your grocery list, Natalie. Your words, whether you’re writing poetry or prose, are always so pretty. You have a gift, my friend. <3 xx

    1. Vashti, that’s so very kind of you to say. Thank you! Oh my gosh … I just started book 2 FINALLY after what was meant to be a slight pause, but then my Kindle decided to stop working. It’s fixed now and I’m riveted once again … Brilliant writing. Brilliant! XO
