Greetings, everyone! ♥
Today I’d love to share a quick video tutorial on how to download and install beautiful fonts in seconds!
We live in a visual world. Many followers of my blog are writers, authors, and/or bloggers, AND readers. We share and market our work, and the work of others, through visuals. What grabs our attention? For me it’s pictures, but a big source of inspiration comes from the typography.
We can create beautiful marketing graphics using unique fonts. Our words convey a message and, hopefully, a story; but first, we must gain a reader’s attention. Any font will convey a message, but the right font will tell a story. Your story. ♥
Typography is also a huge part of branding and often gets overlooked, but it’s an essential piece of what we do. It’s important to choose a style that’s right for you and your work. We have this incredible opportunity to leave a lasting impression via visuals. Let’s make it an awesome one … and have fun doing it!
♥
The possibilities are endless. You can (re)create your favourite quotes and share on your blog and social media sites. You can use snippets from your book or WIP and share with your readers AND garner new fans. How about sharing those amazing reviews you’ve received for your work! Celebrate it in style. You’ve earned it!
If you’re working with a lot of text, you can have a base font and add another to highlight specific words. I do this with my poetry and printables.
If you’re using fonts and graphics, it’s important to understand the Personal and Commercial Licences. I refer to this in the video tutorial. Because I sell my work, I always ensure I have the Commercial Licence for every font and graphic that I use. This doesn’t necessarily mean accessing and using these resources is costly. Nope. Not at all. The font used in the video tutorial is FREE and the Commercial Licence is included. Double score, my friends! ♥
These are resources I personally use and/or value highly. So much so, I became an Affiliate member of many. As an Affiliate, I can endorse the products and services I use and love.
*Disclosure: If you see the value in these products and choose to purchase via my referral links, I may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. ♥

In this video tutorial, we visit FontBundles.net and download the FREE for Commercial Use Font – Beauty. *Images displaying fonts below are taken from source*

There are so many awesome sites to access. I wanted to share my go-to sites for beautiful fonts and graphics. (Free and Paid):
FontBundles.net are well known for saving customers bundles of cash, but they have gone one step further with their FREE fonts section, which includes a brand new FREE font every week. Yup, FREE! ♥
♥
Design Bundles offer amazing graphics at fantastic prices. They generously offer FREE fonts every week via Font Bundles. All of their FREE fonts are available to download instantly, as soon as you sign up for an account. It’s quick, easy, and FREE!
This one is another gem! Yup, it’s FREE. ♥
♥
Deal Jumbo is one of my favourite stops for fonts and graphics. They offer fantastic discounted design bundles with extended license!
This beautiful font is FREE! Crazy, right?! ♥
♥
I love Creative Market! The talent and creativity is inspiring. They offer FREE products, but their paid products are worth every penny. I often purchase a Bundle and feel like a kid on Christmas. So many AMAZING products at an affordable price!
I’m in love with the Festive Font, and scored big time when I snagged it with this bundle.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope this information proves helpful.

I always felt limited going through the fonts I had on words and other programs until I saw here you could get new ones–for free even! Thanks for sharing how to do this, Natalie. I love the added emphasis on just one word. That really stands out nicely.

I always download the free-for-commercial-use fonts. I don’t want to have to worry about which ones are personal and which are commercial. Smart of you to mention it here.
You and I share a love of typography. I’m happy to share this on my weekly writing links.

Is it just my computer, or is there no sound in this tutorial Natalie? 🙁
Natalie Ducey says
Oh no… Just tested it and I can hear it fine. Darn computer issues! Hope it’s an easy fix for you. 🙂

I actually went over to Youtube to watch ‘and listen’ and it worked. I’m a bit confused how this program works. Once we’ve downloaded the font we choose, do you have a simple direction how to get access to it if we want to use it in a blog post or even on a Word doc?
Natalie Ducey says
Awesome, Debby! Hopefully this other tutorial on accessing fonts and glyphs in Windows proves helpful. I don’t know how to use different fonts in a blog post. My theme has everything set and I don’t want to fuss with code. If I do figure it out, I’ll be sure to blog about it! 🙂 Here’s the link to the other tutorial. https://natalieducey.com/2019-02-12-how-to-access-and-use-font-glyphs-and-swashes/

Thanks Natalie. I’ll check it out. Do keep us posted. 🙂 x
