For today’s digital marketing tip, I’d love to share with you an idea for marketing an eBook.
In the video below, you’ll see I’m using a Page-Turn Animation effect for the eBook version of The Heart’s Journey Home.
It’s marketing an eBook but presenting it in the familiar paperback experience!
Let’s animate our eBooks for digital marketing!

Animate an eBook for Digital Marketing
I love this visual presentation of an eBook. ♥
In my screen recording, I captured the cover, introduction, and table of contents. I went through the pages at a steady, not-too-fast pace.
The idea is to offer a glimpse and introduction to my eBook as a creative form of marketing. It’s a means of exposure in our visual, digital world!
Let’s go through the steps together. ♥
First, open the Kindle App. It’s a free App that’s fantastic for reading eBooks.
Open your eBook in the Kindle App.
Tap on the center of the eBook cover image to open settings.
Tap on the font icon to open more settings.
Tap on more to access and activate the Animation option.
Scroll down to find Page-Turn Animation and turn on.
Tap on the right side to begin and view the Page-Turn Animation effect.

Next, let’s take a Screen Recording of your eBook in Animation!
Open the Screen Recording feature on your iPhone.

The Screen Recording is a free feature on an iPhone.
Tap to begin recording.
Open your Kindle eBook and begin the Page-Turn Animation process.
The idea is to record your eBook in the Page-Turn Animation. You choose the speed at which you turn the pages and the content you’d like to display.
*A tip to keep in mind is that you want to showcase your eBook using digital marketing. Offer a glimpse to get viewers interested in learning more.
Below is a sample of its use. I’m sharing a review and providing a glimpse beyond the cover.

Using an iPhone Mockup
Using an iPhone Template/Mockup, we can easily display our Screen Recording in a more realistic setting.
I uploaded my video Screen Recording to Canva and then inserted the video in my iPhone Mockup.
There are so many iPhone Mockup templates available in Canva.
All you need to do is choose your template (all social media sizes available), edit text, colours, etc., then drag and drop your video file.
If you haven’t uploaded a video file to Canva before, it’s much like uploading an image file. (Uploads > Upload Media > Videos).
You can easily view the templates here or via the link below.
If you’re logged into your Canva account, just type “iPhone Mockups” in the search bar and you’ll see all the templates available. You can narrow down your search by using the filters: Category, Style, Theme, and Colour.
