Peace by Piece Puzzles

14 Apr

During this difficult time, many people are turning to jigsaw puzzles to pass the time and this is welcomed news for Peace by Piece Puzzles.

Completing a jigsaw puzzle is a fantastic, fun way to pass the time. It can also have a positive impact on our wellness and mental health.

Peace by Piece Puzzles was inspired by the realization that the simple act of piecing together a jigsaw puzzle can offer therapeutic benefits. It has been discovered that this favourite pastime, brought to light in the 1760s, can simultaneously stimulate the brain, as well as act as a form of meditation, allowing the mind to relax.

With so much uncertainty during COVID-19, it’s essential to find ways to rest our minds. Peace of mind is a vital, fundamental gift that everyone deserves. Our minds need to rest.

Peace by Piece Puzzles

Understanding the health benefits of jigsaw puzzles, highlighted in numerous articles and testimonials, is the reason my sister and I launched Peace by Piece Puzzles in 2017.

Our Vision:

To bring peace of mind to everyone, everywhere one piece at a time.

Along with a beautiful, tranquil image, every Peace by Piece Puzzle carries an inspirational verse, a message of hope and love. The verses are my original work. Through words, I aspire to offer hope, solace, and love.

I do believe that jigsaw puzzles are therapeutic and relaxing, Natalie. I must try to get my boys to do one each. I, of course, relax by making lots and lots of fondant flowers and people.

Cheers, Robbie! I find it so relaxing, and it’s wonderful to see so many people choosing to do so, too. Your creativity is awesome! I think the key thing is finding some activity that is calming and enjoyable. I know a lot of people are struggling to find that place. I have so many hobbies that I love and are keeping me grounded and inspired. I’m so grateful for that. I hope you and your family are doing well. Hugs across the miles. xo

A jigsaw puzzle is like yoga for the brain. It makes sense with the stress and anxiety many people are feeling nowadays that they are turning to puzzles. It’s a fun distraction, as well as, exercise for the brain. Thank you and stay safe❣️

Natalie Ducey

As a multi-passionate creator my heart is rooted in storytelling, self-expression, and soulful connection. I’m a writer of poetry that journeys the deep emotional landscapes of life—the vulnerability and valour of the soul.
My creativity extends beyond the page. I love creating soothing, sweet melodic melodies. Where the silence between the notes soothes the soul, and the tenor and tone seem to transcend time. I find comfort and joy in the art of crochet, and the free artistic expression of graphic design—each medium offering a unique way to inspire, uplift, and connect with others on their own creative journeys.
Nature is my sanctuary. In its tranquil beauty and quiet wisdom, I find restoration, reflection, and a deeper connection to the soul. It’s where I return to breathe, to listen, and to simply be.
This space is a celebration of creativity in all its forms. Creativity, for me, is more than expression—it is transformation. It is how we return to ourselves. Whether you’ve arrived here for a spark of inspiration, a moment of peace, or a sense of belonging—I welcome you!
