The Long Way of Grace

The Long Way of Grace

Inspiration· May Your Heart Hold· Poetry· Reflections· Uncategorized

Sometimes grace arrives so quietly we almost mistake it for an ordinary moment.

A snowflake drifting into a cup of coffee. A pause in the middle of a winter morning. A brief awareness that something far greater than ourselves has just touched our lives.

Perhaps grace is not always found in extraordinary things. Perhaps it lives in the moments that remind us how deeply connected we are to everything around us.

This week’s reflection and poem, A Snowflake in My Coffee, explores the quiet realization that nothing in this world arrives separately, and how even the smallest moments can become invitations into grace.

Some chapters stay with us long after we know they are ending.

Not because they did not matter, but because of the hopes we held, the possibilities we protected, and the version of the story we wished might still find its way into being.

This week’s reflection from A Hundred Ways to Hold Her explores what happens when a long-carried chapter finally comes to an end, and the quiet truths that can emerge when we begin to let go of what could have been.

When Wonder Has No Edges

When Wonder Has No Edges

Inspiration· May Your Heart Hold· Poetry· Reflections· Uncategorized

Sometimes a single moment of noticing can alter the way we move through the world.

Some understandings do not remain in the mind once they arrive. They move into the body. Into the way you breathe, the way you look at the night sky, the way you hold a snowflake before it disappears into warmth.

And once that kind of knowing enters you, the world no longer feels the same.

Wonder begins appearing everywhere.

This week’s reflection and poem, The Vastness I Now Hold, explores the quiet astonishment of realizing we are not separate from this universe, but shaped by the same ancient unfolding moving through all living things.

Some chapters reshape us quietly and painfully, and only later do we see what they revealed. In this week’s post, I share a verse from A Hundred Ways to Hold Her that honours resilience, emotional healing, and the quiet courage of enduring without losing yourself.

I hope it meets you softly, wherever you are in your own journey.
