There are numerous reasons for increasing the cursor (pointer) size and/or changing its colour while using a desktop computer. Whether it’s for accessibility or easy-to-follow screen sharing tutorials, its use offers many benefits.
I recently increased the cursor size and changed its colour to magenta on my ChromeBook to make the screen recordings for my how-to tutorials easier to follow.
In just a few steps, you can easily do so, too.
In today’s digital tip, we’ll go through the steps of changing the cursor size and its colour while using a ChromeBook.
If you’d like to know how to record your desktop screen, you’re most welcome to pop by my recent blog post ~ How to Record Your Screen and Webcam Simultaneously and Independently.

Also, I just recently shared a blog post on avoiding viewer distraction and optimizing screen sharing by hiding the desktop computer tabs, address bar, and taskbar. If you’d like to know more, please feel free to pop by my blog post ~ How to hide tabs, address bar, and taskbar on a ChromeBook.
How to Access the Accessibility Features on a ChromeBook
You’re most welcome to watch via my YouTube Channel. ♥
Let’s jump in. ♥
First, click on the three vertical dots located on the right of your address bar to open the menu, as displayed below.
Then, click on Settings.
Under Settings, you’ll see Advanced. Click on it to open Advanced Options.
Under Advanced, you’ll see a list of options, as displayed below.
Click on Accessibility.
Under Accessibility, you’ll see these two options.
Click on Manage Accessibility Features.
This will open the Accessibility Features. You’ll see many options.
Scroll down to Mouse and Touchpad.
Here, you can turn on Show Large Mouse Cursor then adjust cursor size and change colour.
We’re done. Easy peasy! ♥
I hope this post proves helpful!
